Hello everyone. Wow, it is nearly term 3 already! This year is flying by faster than we can keep up!
Is there a course or hobby you have been thinking about doing? Why not pop in and have a chat to us. We are now taking new enrolments for term 3.
We also have quite a few groups that are always looking for more people to join. We have Boomerang Bags every 4th Wednesday of each month. This is a fantastic project for making sustainable bags. And our bags have been so popular!
We have a Parents Support Group every Tuesday morning, which is a great outlet for parents to catch up over a cuppa and morning tea. All parents are welcome. You can even bring your little ones to play with the toys provided.
It is really great to hear the buzz going on around our centre. Everyone is working hard and learning lots.
From Deb, Janine, Jenna and Matt.
It’s almost Term 2 already. It’s odd to think that March is almost over. Christmas was literally just here and time is flying on by. So don’t miss this opportunity to sign up for a course through us and learn some new skills, refresh your old skills or just come in to one of our social groups for a cuppa and a chat. It’s never too late to come and join in.

Matt here (I know it’s going to say Janine posted this, but I’m too lazy to put in my login credentials…shhhhh) just saying “Hello!” and that I’m sorry for not keeping this updated as much as I probably should but work is increasing and time is becoming an even more valuable commodity than it usually is. I wonder if you could actually sell time..? Anyway, off topic there. I hope everyone is safe and well and to those that aren’t well, I hope you get better soon. Especially since Christmas is just around the corner! Where has the time gone?
The year is almost over which means Term 1 will start very soon too, so if you’re looking to start some new studies next year now is the time to put your interest in! If there’s something we don’t have, please let us know and we shall see if we can put it in for next year. But please understand that we need enough students to run it, so if you know someone else who is interested get them to put their name down too. If we don’t have enough interest then there’s no way we can run it.
I believe we have a closing and opening date around here somewhere….let me just find the….AH! Here we go! For the Christmas Break we will be closing on Wednesday the 20th of December and reopening on Tuesday the 2nd of January. These dates may change before then, but it’s a pretty good indication of the dates we will be closing and reopening. With that in mind, if you need to travel on these dates or after these dates, please come in and book your V-Line tickets or bring in your expressions of interest for courses before then.
I just wanted to do a quick update for you for the moment. Closer to the closing date I’ll hopefully give the proper update and sign off for the year, if time permits. Hopefully I can. But for now, be safe and take care.
-Matt (not Janine 😛 )
